Join our Galaxy of Sea Stars!

A group of sea stars is called a galaxy. When you make a donation, consider signing up for our monthly giving option. Monthly giving ensures sustained programs year-round. When you sign up you will become a part of our valued Galaxy of Sea Stars!  Sea stars are keystone species capable of radically changing the areas they inhabit. When you join our seastar galaxy you too will become a keystone as you help sustain Vashon Nature Center programs!

Recurring donations support 

• $5/mo = helps build an international genetic library by charting the DNA of one salmon
• $25/mo = supports one community science team during our popular 24-hour BioBlitz events
• $50/mo = supports transportation access to the island for school groups from diverse urban areas 
• $100/mo = one high school summer internship stipend
