From Sea to Sky – The Raising of a Whale at Vashon Theatre

Join us on Tuesday, November 18th from 6:00 – 8:00pm for a GreenTech night at Vashon Theatre featuring a film on whale articulation from Canada’s Hakai Institute, a slideshow on Vashon’s own Gray Whale- Singer, and an artist talk about the articulated art Singer will become. Raising a Whale from Sea to Sky is a partnership with Vashon Center for the Arts and Vashon Nature Center commissioned artist Ela Lamblin to articulate a gray whale that beached on Vashon shores in April of 2024.

Doors will open at 5:30 and we will be accepting donations there in person, or you can donate online beforehand.
