Heron Meadow Musical Work Party – Whimsical weeding!
Join us for a new series of work parties at Heron Meadow, featuring local musicians to play while we work!
What: The Heron Meadow is a two-acre wetland forming part of the eastern headwaters of Judd Creek, Vashon Island’s largest salmon-bearing creek. In 2019, the Vashon Center for the Arts and Vashon Nature Center created a partnership to restore this wetland meadow to become better quality habitat for native wildlife and a demonstration site for how to enhance wildlife habitat. It is a place for community gathering, artistic expression, science education, habitat restoration, and nature play.
Where: Cemetary Rd, just east of the parking lot at Vashon Center for the Arts 19600 Vashon Hwy
