Mushroom Naturalist Walk with Hannah Morosoff

Come to our mushroom naturalist walk with Hannah Morosoff! Do you find yourself wondering about the mushrooms you see each fall? This is an excellent opportunity to learn from a local expert. Also you can connect with others curious about the fascinating life cycles and forms of mushrooms on our island. Please note, this is not a foraging class, but rather a chance to learn about mushrooms, diversity, and the complexity of this unique life form. A chance to slow down, observe, and leave filled with wonder.

Join us and mushroom naturalist Hannah Morosoff in this slow meandering walk that will prioritize observations over distance on a well-maintained level gravel pathway. Expect to walk less than a mile so most abilities are welcome. Bring weather-appropriate clothes/supplies and sturdy walking shoes or boots as paths may be muddy. Mushroom ID guides, camera, binoculars or macro lenses are all optional, but fun to have! A suggested donation of $25/participant helps make what we do possible!

Thank you KC 4Culture for making helping to fund this event and others like it.
