Ocean with David Attenborough – Vashon Theatre GreenTech Night

Join Vashon Nature Center for GreenTech Night at the Vashon Movie Theatre on April 21st at 6:00pm for a free viewing of Ocean featuring David Attenborough. This nature documentary featuring the acclaimed writer, natural historian, and  broadcaster, covers the current state of our ocean and how detrimental humans’ effects are to marine life. While it may not be the most joyous film, it beautifully captures the wonders of the ocean, raises awareness for the critical importance of marine conservation, and will inspire all who see it to want to protect the ocean.

Doors are at 5:30 and at 6pm our co-director Maria Metler will give an introduction to the film and introduce some speakers who will briefly converse about marine conservation before the show. This event is completely free and all are welcome! Parents with young children should use discernment, as the film does depict some scenes that could scare young children.
