Vashon eDNA Project 2025 – Survey 3

Join us in collecting monthly eDNA samples to track marine fish diversity in Quartermaster harbor. The resulting data will enable us to monitor shifts in biodiversity and provide insights into key questions surrounding forage fish, green crab, and other marine species.

Information from these surveys joins 73 other sites in an international database for the Integrated Coastal Observatory to help us understand seasonal and geographic patterns of fish diversity across the Salish Sea.

This survey effort is in partnership with Hakai Institute and UW eDNA collaborative.
