Whale Ambassadors

Become part of the whale team at Vashon Nature Center! Help us take advantage of this incredible opportunity to study and learn from this gray whale. We are looking for volunteers to help with cleaning, cataloguing, articulation, moving, and helping build the whale. We are also hoping to train interpreters who can talk with the public and schools once the whale is on display.

We welcome assistance from anyone. At this stage we are particularly looking for engineers, metalworkers, spray painting or auto detailing experience. Please sign up even if you don’t have experience as tasks change regularly.
