Forage Fish Community Lab Night

Surf smelt eggs as seen through a microscope.

Calling Community Scientists- no experience is required! Join VNC scientists for an evening of lab work. Learn how to use a microscope in search of forage fish eggs in samples of beach sand. Receive training on how to identify fish egg species and learn about their use of island shorelines.

We will be in the green room at the Vashon Center for the Arts. 19600 Vashon Highway SW. Find us by using the green room entrance on the South side of the Kay White Hall.
