Native Plant Walk with Adria Magrath

Come on a walk with naturalist and biologist Adria Magrath and learn about the plants you encounter on the trails of Vashon. Focusing on native plants and their interconnected roles in ecological systems, the walk will also provide participants with an opportunity to engage all of their senses, learn about identification and some of the historical cultural uses.  All ages welcome!

Where: Judd Creek Loop Trail

When: April 27th, 2025 from 11am-1pm

Who: Adria Magrath is the Vashon Nature Center’s Heron Meadow Steward and an experienced educator in a diversity of environments.  After working in research and a career as a college professor, she now focuses on family, work on restoring habitat and gardening. She loves sharing her joy and knowledge about the natural world with others.
