Salmon Watchers

Help count salmon in our annual community science survey! Volunteers are assigned a spot alongside a creek on Vashon and they visit twice a week for 15 minutes to count salmon returning. In 2024 a mandatory zoom training is scheduled for old and new volunteers alike from 7-8 pm on September 26th. For new volunteers an optional in person field training is scheduled for Saturday September 28th at 10:30 am at Fern Cove.
