Scientists in Schools: 4th-grade Birding Field Trip

Vashon Nature Center works throughout the Vashon Island School District to deliver hands-on science education and community science to students. We have partnered with Vashon Audubon Society to deliver the teaching and education portions of the 4th grade birding program. Students learn bird identification, physical adaptations, wing and feather structure, and more in a series of labs and field trips.
