Immerse yourself into the watery world below the surface of the Salish Sea in this workshop combining science and art. Study fascinating creatures and learn why they are critical to the success of the entire Puget Sound marine ecosystem with Maria Metler from Vashon Nature Center. Learn how to make fine art prints using kelp, crabs, rockfish, and octopus with Gyotaku printing master Duncan Berry who will share his knowledge of archival paper and inks in this thousand-year-old printing tradition.
